Location & history

One of the oldest
buildings in Mikulov

A house below Holy Hill that remembers centuries – and today it is your home.

History of the house

Stone, vaults
and a new life

The house on Koněvova Street stands on the route that pilgrims have walked up to Holy Hill for centuries. The original stone walls and vaults remain – we brought them back to light and added everything today’s guests need.

The renovation of this listed building combined Mikulov limestone with oak, designer bathrooms and a café under the original vault. Each of the nine rooms is different, because every room of the house was different.

Monner is a family business. You will meet the owners at reception and in the café – we are happy to help with trips, wine and even where to have the best breakfast in Mikulov when you are not having it with us.

Location

Five minutes
from everything

The main square is a seven-minute walk, Holy Hill fifteen and the castle ten. And yet Koněvova Street is quiet – in the evening all you hear are the bells from the hill.
